Book it a day or two before the thing you are going to rather than the morning of it, because the colour keeps developing for hours after you walk out. Exfoliate beforehand and bring loose dark clothes to go home in.
How it goes
The tan is sprayed as a fine mist rather than rubbed in, so it goes on evenly over places you cannot reach yourself. You will have a colour straight away and it deepens over the next four to eight hours.
Getting the most out of it
Exfoliate the day before, skip the moisturiser on the morning, and wear something loose and dark home. Those three things make more difference than anything done in the salon.
